Delete your account

Delete in the app

1. Open DoneYet.
2. Go to the Account tab.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Under Danger zone, tap Delete account permanently.
5. Type DELETE exactly as shown, then confirm.

You may be signed out automatically when deletion completes.

Can’t access the app?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may ask for reasonable verification before processing the request.

What happens to your data

We delete or anonymize personal data tied to your profile and authentication account as implemented in our systems, including profile details, verified phone number, skill or interest tags, notification tokens, and stored Google Calendar connections and credentials.

Shared content you contributed (such as tasks, comments, chat, expenses, balances, and settlements) may stay with the relevant group or participants in de-identified form so shared history remains usable; owned groups are transferred or removed as appropriate. Limited retention may apply for legal compliance, safety investigations, or short-lived backups. See our Privacy Policy.

A browser or installed app may retain temporary caches until you sign out, clear its data, or uninstall it. If you use DoneYet on a shared device, clear that local data after deletion.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel auto-renew in your store’s subscription settings if you have an active DoneYet Pro plan.
